![]() But the transmutation power can help with that right from level 1, and the racial favored class bonus makes elves (or half-elves) the best race for an occultist, anyway. Here are some top contenders:įront line occultist - I keep wanting to do an elf with an elven curve blade, but that con penalty makes me reluctant to put an elf on the front lines. #Hammerhelm alpha free download Pc#I always have a few ideas in the back of my head, some worked out in more detail than others, so I just need to decide which will be the next PC that I actually create. I'm about to run out of level 1s, and I like keeping at least one around in case I need a PC to join in an evergreen (I hate playing pregens, and I've already played some of the evergreens at level 2). I'm signed up to play him in an upcoming evergreen session. I've never played an alchemist before, and it goes so well with the race boon that I couldn't resist. Stereotypical bomb thrower, taking advantage of the racial stats, size bonus, etc. The only one I've already created, and has a GM credit, but haven't played yet, is a ratfolk alchemist. I'm up to 28 PCs, 27 of whom I've played at least once. If I ever build a second archer, it will likely be a toxophilite ranger, if nothing else, than to say "Which eye?" Whenever anyone asks "Think you can hit that from here?" (At least the flavor on this one works-vandalizing Chelish opera houses and speaking dissent in places like Isger and Nirmathas.) Another will likely be some sort of rake or thug rogue. One will be a cleric of Milani with the Riot Subdomain. I keep seeing that crushing despair is on the cleric spell list if you worship Naderi, but can never seem to come up with anything about the character besides "I can cast crushing despair." There's a gnome gunslinger/inquisitor of Brigh X with a blunderbuss that I can picture in my head but cannot seem to translate to a character sheet. I've been piecing together a spear-and-short-sword version that I'm 3/4 happy with. A two-weapon fighter using two different weapons has had the same issue. A falconer ranger has piqued my interest ever since first seeing it in Ultimate Magic, but I've never managed to get the right flavor together. Warpriest (Molthune Arsenal Chaplain) slave earned independence Half-orc Inquisitor (Gorum, Cleave, Surprise Follow-through) Serpentfire Adept Monk īard(Juggler(startoss style) or Busker) Ĭleric (Divine Magic subdomain) Spell Warrior Skald ( half-elf, erages ) ĭwarf wild-shaping druid (Green scourge druid (flame blade!))Įlf Empiricist Investigator (Elven battle style) Supernaturalist Druid (plant companion, natural attacks) Hunter - Roc companion īloodrager (half-elf, Arcane) My list of outstanding character ideas include a few concepts I'd just like to explore or figure out how they work. When you are constantly referring to this rule maybe you are doing a tad too much damage. This does it better but I'm not sure I want to. I already have a character who casts fireball. These builds have some mechanic issues that just don't work for me.Ī ratfolk invoker witch. I've considered a mysterious stranger sorcerer before as well as a wisdom based cleric gunslinger. Some sort of gunslinger but I'm not entirely sure how I want to approach it yet. Every time a new feature comes along I'm always looking to see if today is the day it all comes together. The mechanics are almost there but they fall short by just a little bit for my taste. ![]() I really want to make a cleric of Urgathoa so badly. I haven't asked for clarification because I might actually be one of the only people with this problem and its regarding a topic most dislike. He has sat on the bench for a long time because while I think it make sense that he would be grandfathered I haven't felt comfortable playing him. ![]() No rules were posted for what to do with characters who had summoner class features. I have a wizard/bloatmage/pathfinder savant who has spells from the old summoner list. He was benched because of illusion rules changing GM to GM but maybe with it being cleared up somewhat in Ultimate Intrigue he will get played again. I have a shadow spell illusionist wayang. She is so effective at what she does that I'm cautious using her depending on the table and scenario. My Nixie's Lure psychic undine of Naderi has reached a pretty high level. This character is actually awesome and I think will effectively pull off a gish caster martial but I just haven't played him much yet. He is no longer doing so for obvious reasons and now is taking a break.Īn oread blight druid of rovagug with the darkness domain. He was planned for being my first staff of the master character. I've got some idea of what I'll be doing with it but haven't gotten around to playing him again.Ī sage-blooded Razmiran Priest sorcerer going into cyphermage. ![]()
